Exilis Elite™ the award winning system for advanced body shaping and skin tightening is a combined mono-polar Radio Frequency (RF) and Ultrasound device which offers a revolutionary non-invasive form of treatment for the reduction of wrinkles, skin tightening, reshaping of the body, reduction of targeted fat deposits and appearance of cellulite, with long-lasting results.
The treatment uses precisely controlled high frequency Ultrasound waves to target and melt the fat cells, releasing their contents for disposal by the body, and RF energy to heat the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating new collagen that results in skin tightening. The Exilis Elite™ is suitable for both men and women and can be used on virtually any area of the body and face. How Exilis Elite™ works
Exilis Elite™ combines Ultrasound with RF to deliver heat deeply into the skin, resulting in fat loss, collagen remodeling, and skin tightening.
The Ultrasound:
- Targets the subcutaneous fatty tissue, causing the fat cell membrane to burst.
- The fat will then “melt” and is released in to the surrounding tissue. As fat is ‘melted’ out of fat cells, The fat cells actually shrink in size.
- The body will then metabolise and dispose of the melted fat in the same way it would if consumed, a certain amount being excreted through body’s own natural process, and some being retained.
The Radio Frequency:
- Heats the deeper layers of the skin, initiating the process of Collagen Remodeling in which older elongated collagen strands are denatured by the radio frequency energy, and during the body’s repair process these collagen networks are stimulated, strengthened and lined up in a more youthful configuration to improve skin laxity and texture.
- Also improves blood circulation, hence increasing the lymphatic drainage that assists the excretion of the excess “melted” fat safely and effectively through the body.

The Exilis Elite™ Procedure and Results
It is important that you are very well hydrated before, during and after your Exilis Elite™ treatment to achieve optimum results. During your procedure the Exilis Elite™ applicator is guided over the treatment area. You will feel a warming sensation as the energy is delivered to the deeper layers of the skin. Exilis Elite™ focuses the energy on the specific treatment areas at the targeted depth of penetration either to target fatty deposits or to cause the collagen-supporting tissues to remodel, stimulating and strengthening the collagen network to improve skin laxity and texture. At the same time, the underside of the applicator provides cooling to your skin’s surface, and the built-in thermometer lets the operator maintain constant temperatures keeping you more comfortable during the treatment. The procedure takes from 30 – 45 minutes depending on the size and number of areas being treated. There is no downtime and you may resume normal activities immediately following the procedure.
For optimum results, a course of treatment is required. Although patients usually notice a difference following the first session, the results keep improving over a period of 2-6 months, especially after skin tightening, as the Collagen Remodelling process occurs gradually.
Generally, for the face, a course of 3-6 treatments, and for the body, 6-8 treatments, with an interval of 7-14 days will be needed to achieve the desired outcome. The exact number of treatments will depend on the existing concerns to be addressed and the goals you want to achieve.
Following a thorough consultation, a treatment plan will be tailor-made to suit your specific needs and goals, and you will also be provided with complete pre-and post-treatment instructions.
One-off treatment sessions are required to maintain the results, especially for tightening, lifting and wrinkle-reducing anti-aging treatments, as unfortunately (as much as we would love it to), no treatment can stop the natural aging process. However, in Exilis Elite™ body contouring treatment, it is not uncommon for patients to see a loss of one to four inches from certain areas of the body after completing a course of treatment, and current studies show that those who have had treatment over 2 years ago have been able to maintain their results by keeping a balanced diet and leading a healthy lifestyle.
